Brokerage firm Cresa has found a new home in Rutherford, where it has doubled its footprint while also announcing two additions to its team in the region.
The company, which signed a long-term lease at 301 Route 17 North, is expanding after a record year in which the New Jesey unit grew earnings by 48 percent, according to a news release. It’s gearing up for additional growth in its newly renovated, 4,465-square-foot suite, which is in a building adjacent to its previous location at 201 Route 17 North.
In the meantime, Cresa has added brokers Garrett Rioux as a senior vice president and Dennis W. McConnell as a principal. They join a New Jersey team led by managing principals Dennis Gralla and Jonathan Marks.
“In the past few years, we have grown from three to 12 people, and added industry-respected professionals who are experts in a variety of asset categories, including industrial office, life sciences, and healthc are,” Gralla said. “The result has not only been a dynamic increase in transactions, but it has also helped attract new talent.”
Marks added: “We have an incredible team and welcome Garrett Rioux, who joins us from CBRE, and Dennis McConnell, formerly an executive vice president at JLL. It is this caliber of talent and focused expertise that continue to bring in new clients and maintain well-established relationships.”
The occupier-focused firm noted that it has been in the New Jersey market for more than 25 years, with the current leadership team of Gralla, Marks and the late James Scancarella in place since 2017. Its focus encompasses 21 primary submarkets between New York City and Philadelphia, with a platform that includes advisory and transactional services and project management to a wide range of industries.
