Bergman Real Estate Group has debuted a new slate of amenity spaces at a Madison office building, seeking to expand its health and wellness opportunities for tenants.
The spaces at 7 Giralda Farms, a 236,000-square-foot building in the iconic corporate campus, include a nine-hole disc golf course on the scenic 20-acre grounds, representing what Bergman says is the first of its kind in a multitenant suburban office building. The firm has also added new walking paths and a fence and gate system to access the 3.5-mile paved walking loop around the Giralda Farms complex, along with a modern 560-square-foot yoga and exercise room.
“These amenities are more than ‘nice-to-haves’ — they’re essential for companies to attract and retain the best talent in New Jersey’s workforce,” said Michael Bergman, CEO and president of Bergman Real Estate Group. “Employees want and actively seek out health incentives to support their physical and mental wellbeing. By installing new state-of-the-art amenities and services at 7 Giralda Farms, our tenants can meet these needs with ease.”
In addition, Bergman said it has partnered with workplace wellbeing firm Better Spaces to provide weekly on-site exercise classes and on-demand fitness classes to tenants, according to a news release. Employees can access a wide range of fitness classes, as well as educational seminars focused on cultural learning and nutrition through the Better Spaces app.
Bergman recently completed a multimillion-dollar renovation that includes new outdoor seating areas, landscaping enhancements, a fitness center, a conference room, a bike share program and upgrades to the building’s lobby, cafeteria and restrooms. The newest amenities come alongside the completion of an upscale lounge and game room with a pool table and shuffleboard.
“When we acquired 7 Giralda Farms, we committed to elevating this property by investing in amenities that would transform it into a modern office space where employees want to come to work every day,” Bergman said.
The firm and its joint venture partner, Eightfold Capital, acquired 7 Giralda Farms earlier this year. The firms have since signed 75,000 square feet in new leases to 10 companies.
