Boaggio’s Bread is joining the lineup at The Ellipse Center in Mount Laurel.
After signing a long-term lease with the owners of the property at 4201 Church Road, Vantage Commercial said the bakery will take over space formerly occupied by Good Foods to Go, a family-run restaurant that closed last fall.
Founded in 1988, Boaggio’s Bread is a family-owned, artisan specialty wholesale bakery. Its client lineup includes Delta, TGI Fridays, Sysco, Caesars Atlantic City, Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City and Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
Boaggio’s also has an Italian market open daily to the public, as well as an online shop. Customers can order select gourmet products for direct shipping or pick up at the bakery.
It is not immediately clear if Boaggio’s is closing its current location on East Gate Drive in Mount Laurel and relocating to The Ellipse Center, or if it is adding a second outpost.
In a press release announcing the lease agreement, Vantage Commercial said the decision “underscores Boaggio’s Bread’s commitment to providing quality baked goods to the community” and brings the brand’s offerings “to the heart of Mount Laurel.”
Other tenants at The Ellipse Center include iSpa & Nails Kaly’s Cuts, The ScyFli Smoke Shop, Certa Pro Painters and Cipriani Builders.
John Doss, a senior advisor at Cherry Hill-based Vantage Commercial, said, “Boaggio’s Bread is a fantastic addition to the center and we are confident that their presence will further enhance the shopping and service experiences for residents and visitors alike.”
Ken Richardson, the real estate brokerage’s vice president, added, “The negotiation process was smooth and we are delighted to have assisted both parties in reaching a mutually beneficial agreement. The addition of Boaggio’s Bread not only fills a vacancy but also brings a unique culinary offering to the community.”
