A joint venture is moving ahead with plans for a new condominium property in Long Branch, in a project that would bring another 132 luxury homes to the city’s fast-growing shoreline.
Known as The Atlantic Club, the development at 390 Ocean Ave. stems from a partnership of Stillman Development International LLC, Surrey Equities and Gotham City Real Estate.
The team is planning a December groundbreaking and has launched sales for the project, which is slated to have a mix of one- to five-bedroom condos ranging from 993 to 4,246 square feet and more than 75,000 square feet of amenity space.
Prices range from $1.12 million to more than $5.95 million, while completion is slated for 2026.
“Our vision for The Atlantic Club is to bring a meticulously crafted residential enclave: an art ecosystem inspired by beach serenity and charm, but with an urbane sense of style and elegance,” said Roy Stillman, president of Stillman Development. “The Jersey Shore was America’s first fully developed coastline and The Atlantic Club harkens back to the golden age of the Shore and is on par with the very best of world-class coastal living.”
The development, which will include twin residential buildings connected by a 3,000-square-foot lobby, will replace the Seaview Towers complex that was razed in 2020. Shore Point Architecture is leading the overall design, which includes amenities such as an expansive pool deck with sunbeds, fire pits and grills, along with a high-end fitness center, a full business center and a game room with billiards and poker, among others.
Stillman added that the homes will have spacious, sun-lit layouts and expansive balconies and terraces, many of them with unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean, with an emphasis on showcasing upscale artwork throughout the space. Those offerings will include two penthouses.
“The Atlantic Club brings a new level of luxury and investment potential for this market, and we look forward to bringing world-class amenities and a turnkey lifestyle to this private, beachfront oasis,” said Leon Silvera, principal of Surrey Equities.
The developers, known collectively as 390 Ocean Owner LLC, selected Cristina Grajales of the Cristina Grajales Gallery in Tribeca to create a gallery aesthetic throughout the development, according to a news release. Grajales has since engaged the renowned French glass sculptor Christophe Côme and Hechizoo’s Jorge Lizarazo, one of the world’s leading textile and tapestry artists, to create new works commissioned specifically for The Atlantic Club.
“Ocean Avenue is without a doubt one of the most prime locations on the Jersey Shore,” said Steve Silverman, principal of Gotham City Real Estate Services. “The prominent beachfront corridor is the best homebase for residents to enjoy all the Jersey Shore has to offer, now with a very special gem at the 390 address.”
