The final townhome-style condominium at the distinctive Wonder Lofts project in Hoboken has hit the market for just under $2.8 million.
According to Prism Capital Partners, which spearheaded the adaptive reuse project at 720 Clinton St., the 2,431-square-foot, three-bedroom home is the largest unit of its kind at the property. Buyers have already snapped up seven of the townhome-style dwellings this year, the firm said, noting that the final offering has two spaces for home offices, dens or bedrooms, along with four bathrooms, an 11-foot living room ceiling, primary bedroom suites on each floor and abundant closet space.
There’s also an attached 173-square-foot private outdoor terrace and deeded parking in an on-site garage.
“This home represents the final opportunity to receive the one-of-a-kind lifestyle presented in the Townhome Collection,” said Robert Fourniadis, senior vice president for residential with Prism, which developed Wonder Lofts in partnership with Parkwood Development and Angelo Gordon. “We expect interest in this residence to be extremely high among sophisticated buyers looking for the space and privacy of a multilevel home along with the many benefits of a new-construction, full-service building.”
Wonder Lofts, which has revitalized the roughly 114-year-old Wonder Bread factory in the city, has 83 newly constructed homes overall. The ultraluxury condos are spread across the converted industrial property and several newly built sections, while residents have access to 14,400 square feet of shared indoor and outdoor amenity spaces.
The highest rooftop, with panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline, all of Hoboken and beyond, boasts a landscaped patio lounge with an infinity-edge swimming pool, lounge chairs, a circular outdoor bar underneath a restored water tower and other offerings. The package of recreation and social spaces also includes a second-floor residents’ lounge with a large living room that opens to a landscaped outdoor terraced patio, as well as a children’s playroom with padded floors, bean bag seating, toys, books and a fully equipped children’s art center.
Another feature is a collection of modern cardio and strength training equipment and a separate yoga and flex studio.
In addition to the final townhome, the developers have released three- and four-bedroom condos priced from just under $1.9 million to nearly $3.5 million.
Wonder Lofts’ team includes Hoboken-based MVMK Architecture + Design, which served as the project architect, and Manhattan-based Workshop/APD as the interior designer, according to a news release. As part of the project, the developers have preserved the factory’s original brick detail, archways, high ceilings, large windows, a smokestack and a water tower, while adding modern features such as a glass and light gray aluminum façade.
The site also includes a new ground-up, five-story building across the street that houses 15 of the 83 units. Every home includes a parking space in the secured garage, which has electric vehicle charging stations, while the property also boasts a location just west of downtown Hoboken, mass transit access and a host of park and recreation spaces.
