A freight and logistics company has leased nearly 68,000 square feet of industrial space in Secaucus, in a newly announced deal by Cushman & Wakefield.
According to the brokerage team, Advanced International Freight Inc. will be one of three tenants at 700 Penhorn Ave., which sits on five acres just east of the New Jersey Turnpike. The company will occupy 67,663 square feet within the 105,975-square-foot property, which has 120 parking spaces, six loading docks, one drive-in door and 35-foot ceiling heights.
Cushman’s Charles Fern, Thomas D. Tucci, Stephen Shoemaker, Torsten Thaler and Natalie Gorga represented the landlord, Sinai Associates Inc.
“We are thrilled to welcome Advanced International Freight Inc. to the property,” Tucci said. “The tenant will benefit from the property’s ideal location within close proximity to the Port of (New York and New Jersey) and the Secaucus Junction commuter rail.”
Located off Secaucus Road, 700 Penhorn Ave. is also home to Custom Packaging Supply Inc. and Boxzooka Fulfilment & Global Ecommerce. Brokers noted that it’s within a 10-minute drive of both Secaucus Junction and Hoboken Terminal, while it provides quick access to the region’s vast highway network.
