Honeywell International Inc. has renewed a 40,000-square-foot lease at a Hamilton office campus, in a newly announced deal by Fennelly Associates.
According to a news release, brokers Jerry Fennelly and Pat Dintrone represented ownership in the transaction at 1000 and 2000 Water View Drive. JLL’s Thomas Romano represented the tenant at the 47-acre, 124,000-square-foot complex near the junction of Route 130 and Interstate 195, which provides the industrial technology giant with quick access to the New Jersey Turnpike and to nearby multifamily properties and restaurants.
Fennelly added that the office park, which is owned by Genesis Bio, has ample on-site parking and amenities such as a food court and a fitness center. The office had been home to Sparta Systems, a private software company that Honeywell acquired in 2020.
“While the office sector has seen considerable challenges since the pandemic, the continued flight to quality with amenities has provided office owners with reasons for optimism,” said Fennelly, the firm’s president. “By placing an emphasis on maintaining and improving their properties, owners can continue to show a commitment to their tenant’s needs and, in turn, attract and retain high-quality tenants in a challenging market.”
