Kaplan Cos. is touting another strong showing at an annual homebuilding event, where it grabbed a record 12 awards for its successful leasing and marketing programs.
The firm, which is based in Highland Park, was among the honorees at the Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey’s recent FAME Awards. This year’s accolades included Best Corporate Facebook Page and Best Public Relations Release for its 70th anniversary in 2022, while Kaplan’s Jennifer Schwefringhaus was named the 2022 Marketing Director of the Year for a Builder.
Now in its 20th year, the Fabulous Achievement in Marketing Excellence awards recognize professionals throughout the building industry, according to a news release. This year’s event took place on May 11 in Freehold.
“We could not be more impressed and appreciative of our leasing and marketing team,” said Jason Kaplan, president of Kaplan Cos. “We know that our professionals are best in the market, but it is truly gratifying to receive this industry recognition from our peers. We continually strive to advance the quality and grace of Central Jersey’s housing market. Our leasing and marketing team are in lockstep in that effort, highlighting our creativity as continuous disruptors in this area.”
The Shore Builders also recognized Camelot at Toms River, a 128-unit luxury residential community on Kaplan Court that will debut on June 6, with several awards, the news release said. Those included FAME Awards for its logo design, brochure, signage, architecture, leasing office, interior merchandising, website and billboard design, while it was Kaplan’s fourth consecutive FAME Award for Community of the Year.
Camelot at Toms River marks Kaplan’s first large entry into Ocean County’s high-end rental market and is already 80 percent leased, having secured its first tenant in January.
