Kushner Real Estate Group has opened the third and final piece of a luxury multifamily development in Bayonne, adding another 212 units to the city’s fast-growing waterfront.
Known as Bay 151, the full property now encompasses 625 apartments and 10,000 square feet of retail space on a 16-acre site, according to a news release. The newest homes at 225 Chosin Few Way have opened alongside additional indoor and outdoor amenities, while offering views of New York Harbor and a location that is minutes from Bayonne’s main retail corridor and the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail’s 45th Street station.
Apartment layouts range from studios to three-bedrooms, with monthly rents starting from $2,169, including incentives, KRE Group said.
“We are thrilled to announce the debut of our third and final phase of residences at Bay 151,” said Jonathan Kushner, the firm’s president. “The new phase builds on everything that has made Bay 151 so successful and takes it to the next level, offering residents an appealing array of brand-new apartments and upscale amenities in one of the most exciting, well-connected new neighborhoods on the New Jersey Gold Coast.”
Designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, Bay 151 has hit the market in phases, starting with the debut of 200 units in 2020. Both the initial offering and the 213-unit second phase leased quickly, thanks in part to the value that Bayonne provides to renters seeking to live in the region.
The latest phase is a four-story building with upscale design, finishes and appliances, KRE said, plus amenities such as an additional high-end fitness center, a second outdoor pool and sundeck, additional grills and outdoor seating areas, new co-working spaces and a party room and a golf simulator. Residents will also have access to the property’s existing social and recreational spaces, which total 65,000 square feet, and include several services and programs geared toward pets.
Ownership, meantime, hosts regular social events, while Jersey City-based Lloyd Dickenson Fitness offers a full selection of classes at Bay 151 every week, all included as part of the amenity package. The property also operates a resident shuttle to and from the Grove Street PATH station in Jersey City.
