Peter and Melissa Feldman of Legacy Real Estate Developers have donated $10,000 in support of the Spring Lake Hope Foundation and its mission of assisting families of children grappling with rare health conditions.
The organization, which announced the gift this week, said it will help defray the costs of critical treatments and medical expenses not accepted by insurance. It also figures to offset other financial hurdles that families face.
Legacy Real Estate Developers is a new venture focused on acquiring and transforming undervalued real estate, according to a news release. Peter Feldman leads the firm as its president and has a history of volunteer work, notably with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Melissa Feldman, with a master’s degree in nursing, brings more than 15 years of experience to the field of public health.
“The real joy for us lies in knowing the impact a contribution from Legacy Real Estate Developers will have on these young lives,” said Paulette Pera Laurenzi, CEO and president of the Spring Lake Hope Foundation. “This money will offer hope to families who truly need it most.”
Salvatore Frassetto, who chairs the organization and is founder and co-chairman of Tulfra Real Estate, added: “Legacy Real Estate Developers is once again proving that if we come together as a community, we can do a lot of good for children in need.”
