A veteran broker has joined Sitar Realty Co. as a senior director, with a focus on leasing and sales of restaurants, retail, warehouse and multifamily properties.
According to the Woodbridge-based firm, Philip Meoli is a former sales representative with Elan Pharmaceuticals, a co-instructor at Dale Carnegie Training and a licensed securities broker. In addition, he was the owner and broker of record at Maximus Realty in Brooklyn’s Park Slope neighborhood from 2002 before recently moving to Sitar.
Meoli still acts as a landlord, developer and manager of both residential and commercial property in New York, according to his bio. He was also involved in the development of Barclays Center, the multipurpose area and home of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets and the WNBA’s New York Liberty.
Meoli holds both New Jersey and New York broker licenses and received his bachelor’s in economics from The State University of New York at Albany, Sitar said. Additionally, he owned and operated two successful restaurants and has competed on nationally televised reality cooking shows, Chopped and Re-Wrapped, both on the Food Network.
