The mixed-use Livingston Town Center property is welcoming two new tenants after a pair of leases arranged by Azarian Realty Co.
Under the larger deal, Monmouth Cards will occupy a first-floor, 2,034-square-foot space at the South Livingston Avenue property. The second tenant, Bergen Debate Club, has taken 1,194 square feet on the second floor of the 65,523-square-foot center.
Kevin Pelio of Azarian Realty represented both parties in the latter deal, noting that Bergen Debate Club is one of the largest and most successful debate academies in the United States, helping children and teens develop their public speaking, critical thinking and persuasive argumentation skills. The new location will be its third, joining existing sites in Glen Rock and Fort Lee, while the business also offers online classes for students ages 10 and up.
Pelio also represented ownership in the deal with Monmouth Cards, while Ryan Starkman of Pierson Commercial represented the tenant. According to a news release, the business is a trading card and collectible store and online platform, with offerings ranging from sports cards to entertainment cards and a team that includes experienced collectors who can pinpoint authentic, high-quality cards.
Livingston Town Center will be Monmouth Cards’ fourth brick-and-mortar store, following locations in East Brunswick, Wall Township and Oakhurst. It joins the property alongside tenants such as Wells Fargo, 16 Handles, HotWorx, Shiseido, LA Bikini and others.
