Mortgage rates fell sharply on Tuesday, October 10th and in today’s video I explain why. I also discuss a new report from Fannie Mae that showed that the share of people who believe it’s a good time to buy a home fell to nearly an all-time record low (tied with the record low set last year). At the same time, credit availability eased somewhat in September as more lenders expanded their mortgage loan offers slightly in light of elevated mortgage interest rates.

To give you a quick mortgage interest rates update, according to the Mortgage News Daily the average 30 year fixed rate mortgage is around 7.6% for the current mortgage rates (at the time of filming this video for those with excellent credit).
