The office market in San Francisco had a 30.4 percent overall vacancy rate in the third quarter, up from 23.1 percent last year, according to Cushman & Wakefield. That’s the highest overall vacancy rate of the 92 office markets tracked by the brokerage, which warned that it would increase further as 2 million sf of existing leases are set to expire in the fourth quarter.
