Sanzari touts lease expansion at Glenpointe by waste collection, recycling firm – Real Estate NJ

A waste collection and recycling firm has expanded at the Glenpointe campus in Teaneck, where it now leases nearly 18,000 square feet from Alfred Sanzari Enterprises.

The company, Interstate Waste Services Inc., has been a tenant at 300 Frank W. Burr Blvd. since 2013, according to a news release. Its newly completed expansion is meant to support the needs of its customer service team, following the firm’s significant growth in recent years.

Newmark’s Jeff Schotz, Peter Rossi, Dan Reider, Peter Kasparian and David Simson represented Sanzari in the deal at Glenpointe Centre East, while Andrew Zezas of Real Estate Strategies Corp. represented Interstate Waste Services.

“During our time at Glenpointe, our firm has experienced an exciting amount of growth as we continue to serve businesses and clients in need of waste removal and management services,” said Brian Giambagno, chief financial officer of Interstate Waste Services, or IWS. “We were happy to work with Alfred Sanzari Enterprises to expand our footprint at Glenpointe and better align our space with our business’ growth goals.”

Sanzari announced the deal Tuesday, noting that IWS has more than 30 locations across New Jersey and the greater New York City metropolitan area. The company provides solid waste and recycling services for businesses with a deep focus on leveraging technology to reduce the impact of waste generation on the environment.

Its expansion is part of a steady flow of activity at the 670,000-square-foot Glenpointe campus, which has undergone a significant renovation and expansion of its amenities. Since the start of last year, Sanzari said it has negotiated nearly 100,000 square feet of leases and expansions with a wide range of companies including Leica Camera, HK Kolmar and Univision.
