The newest experiential dining concept at Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus is just over two weeks from its long-awaited debut at the property.
Pinstripes, which combines Italian and American cuisine with bowling, bocce and banquet space, is slated to open its doors at the mall on Feb. 16 under a lease announced in summer 2021. The space will mark its first New Jersey location and 16th nationwide, offering a full-service bistro and bar, 13 bowling lanes, three bocce courts and three private event spaces for groups of up to 1,000 people.
“Pinstripes will bring more than 30,000 square feet of sophisticated fun to Westfield Garden State Plaza and will provide Paramus residents and visitors with a fantastic new destination to dine, play and celebrate with friends and family,” Pinstripes founder and CEO Dale Schwartz said. “We’re excited to welcome our first guests in New Jersey to experience a modern twist on dining, entertainment and events.”
Occupying 31,221 square feet of dining and gaming space across two floors, Pinstripes Paramus’ ground-floor, 107-seat bistro will have seasonal entrées, a curated wine list, local beers and craft cocktails, according to a news release. The operator said its restaurant-style seating provides flexibility for guests to enjoy their meals at booths, tables surrounding the bar or in front of big-screen TVs airing major sporting events on an expansive 137-seat, 2,044-square-foot patio.
The business intends to host a high volume of private corporate and social functions, targeting 1,000 events within its first year of operation, the news release said.
“Pinstripes is a unique experiential offering that will complement our shopping destination and give our guests another place to gather and create memories with their loved ones,” said Wesley Rebisz, senior general manager of Westfield Garden State Plaza. “We are proud to be the first Pinstripes location in New Jersey and look forward to introducing its vibrant environment to the community.”
